STAGE 1- CORE CARE-4-KIDS PROGRAM:
“CORE” activities planned for you are listed below. You are expected to be roll up your sleeve and serve/partner in the following caring activities:
STAGE 2-ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES:
.Befriend, care for and take care of children from the areas
devastated by poverty.
.Minister to street kids living on the streets, in slums and at refuse dumps.
.Teach children at Sunday schools, and help them with home works.
.Assist teachers in classrooms at primary & high schools in poor areas.
.Help put up drama and entertainment activities to cheer up the children
who are still traumatized by the devastation.
.Be a part of a cooking and feeding [open air style]program benefiting young children.
.Help out at construction sites where homes are being built for the poor
children and their families.
.Be a part of a concert team putting together a memorable musical
declarations/performances to bless the community, parents & the poor/sick
children.
.Assist in creating landscaping gardens and play areas for children in deprived villages.
.Be involved with distributing gift packs to the children at their homes.
.Help to plan surprise birthday parties for poor & sick children.
.Visit sick children in the hospitals or at homes in the villages.
.Help out at children wards of local clinics and hospitals to brighten their day.
.Spend a day with a disabled child or home bound sick child, showing them you care.
.Pray with/for traumatized kids and their families in crisis.
.Travel to rural poorer districts and offer support to kids
who have been badly affected and are living in rough/crammed
conditions.
.Be part of a health care services team and distribute sanitary packs in the
slums and in poor local communities.
.Deliver pre-packed gift boxes to children and their families.
.Visit children living in ghetto and slum areas to befriend & support them.
.Spend a night/weekend with an poor child and his/her family to experience how they
live.
.Work as part of a team, cooking for and feeding many children
in a loving and caring manner.
.Organize surprise birthday parties for children in the run down
communities.
.Be a part of a concert team putting together a memorable musical
declaration/performance to bless the community, parents & the
children living in poverty.
.Help distribute surprise gift packs to the children at their homes.
.Pray with/for traumatized kids and their families.
.Travel to poorer, disadvantaged communities in to offer
support to kids who have been badly affected by poverty and are living in
rough/crammed or disheveled homes.
.Assist children and their families in refurbishing/painting of their
homes if/as required.
.Assist in landscaping gardens and repairing/creating children play areas.
.Spend a night/weekend with a sick/disabled child and his/her family to experience how they
live and bond with them in a sympathetic/empathetic way.
.Attend local church worship with the child/children and their families in rural
areas to encourage them.
Though this list is long and you will have the opportunity to take part in many areas of children ministry, there is no guarantee of which area you will be assigned to until you arrive, and you may not be able or be expected to complete them all, but we will go as many miles with you as you are willing to.

One of the most important requirements for the tour is that each applicant has a loving spirit, non-judgmental, tolerant, able to mix, humble hearted & a willingness to serve. Applicants do not need to be perfect, just willing to learn & give.
