CORE OBJECTIVE
The aim of this missions program is to provide those who don’t normally have the time, resources or opportunity to give back to society the chance to do exactly that! Why not plan a vacation of a different kind this year, one that will change your life and the lives of others forever.
JHM Global has provided the Entertainment Industry with the opportunity to come and experience community life in a different part of the world. This program has not been put together in order to promote our organization, it’s been designed to highlight the disadvantaged lifestyle of people who should feel loved but don’t. They are the focus, they are our attention. This journey into the mission field has been put together so that ordinary people like you and me can build relationships, form friendships and grow to love a people whose only reason for being remembered has become their poverty and humiliation. Their obvious needs are portrayed on our screens everyday, in newspapers and magazines, but do we really know them? Can we genuinely say that we can empathize with them? Entertainment has been part of our lives for decades and it has become one of the greatest forms of communication. Why not use your stills camera to capture the brokenness of an out of work father, record the sound of a baby crying because of hunger, watch as a child dances in the dirt road while she dreams of a better future. Why not keep a journal that captures the reality of a mother cooking the last bag of grain for her family or to decorate a school play area. Why not convey your skills and talents by teaching a younger generation the importance of communication.
This program gives you the chance to get to know the local people and to find out how your finance can be put to great use. Whilst our world falls apart and so many are loosing sight of humanity, towns and villages in the third world strive to hang on to community life. No matter how far and wide our efforts take us, there is no doubt that the entertainment industry can help nations build bridges and heal wounds. We need to raise our next generations to be people with talents, skills, wisdom and most importantly, Compassion. Whilst finance solves problems, it doesn’t resolve humanity, we don’t need bystanders, we need friends, family, Community. Distance is no excuse for intolerance or neglect!
So promotion and celebrity is the MINOR part of the journey; simply because sharing their stories with the world is wonderful but there’s no better way to show love and care than to give of yourself. Feeling loved by your family is great but being loved by a whole nation could be even greater. With our program You will be A Part of the Community Life.
THE PPROGRAM
The E-Missions program has been designed for those working in any area or capacity of the Entertainment Industry. This internship has been developed to not only bring awareness and offer first hand experience, but to open up avenues of possibility and hope for displaced people in nations with very little. There are several aspects of this internship that will not only benefit the local people, but prove useful and viable for any successful individual, thriving company or organization in Media;
Relationship building, One to one interpersonal skills, Risk assessing, Budgeting, qualifying and assessing high areas of need are just a few. Whatever your reasons for coming out to the Mission field, you can be sure that most, if not all of them will be addressed and your skills put to task in our areas of mission responsibility.
